Hāwera Primary School has a legal responsibility to account for all students who are enrolled each day by monitoring their attendance. We ask for our parents/caregiver's help in achieving this.

Below are the various options for notifying the school office of your child's absence.

06 278 7709 or private message your child's classroom teacher via the Hero app.

If you are unable to speak directly to a staff member please leave a detailed voice message that must include:

Your child's name
Their classroom
Reason for absence
